Allepola Falls

Allepola Falls is located in the Allepola village along the Ratnapura–Balangoda road. Flowing from the We River, the waterfall is about 60 feet high and 40 feet wide. Its spectacular beauty can be seen along the path that extends approximately 1 km from Allepola to Gallinna. From the Gallinna road, visitors can admire the creamy-white foam cascading gently down. The falls are especially beautiful during the rainy season. Although stunning, approaching the waterfall is dangerous, so it is best viewed from a distance.
