After traveling along the Kalawana road from Balangoda town and turning left at the Kalawana junction, the stream mentioned earlier continues along the left side of the main road. At the end of this stream, you reach the beautiful Walawe River that crosses the road. A footbridge has been built here to carry water across to the Weli Oya Kumburu area. After crossing the bridge and entering the forest along the river, you will find a perfect shallow swimming spot set in a picturesque environment. However, swimmers must exercise caution and take responsibility for their own safety in the water.
